How Much Do I Need To Trade?

$300+Small accounts from $300 can work with GoldMine, provided the broker offers unlimited or higher leverage. However, users must be aware that the actual risk per trade will often be higher than the configured percentage on such accounts, which can lead to higher account drawdown.

Although, we recommend a starting capital of $3K+. This gives GoldMine Vector more room to apply its intended risk-management rules, helping reduce the impact of minimum lot sizes on account drawdown.

The average risk per trade with the minimum lot size (0.01 lots) on Gold, based on our strategy, is usually around $20-$35, depending on market volatility. Small account holders need to be aware that the minimum lot size may cause the actual risk per trade to exceed their set risk percentage and, in some cases, even our maximum risk limit of 5%. When 5% of your balance is below the $25 strategy minimum (balances under $500), your risk setting is automatically locked to 5% until your balance grows enough to unlock it.

When a signal's computed risk exceeds the safe threshold (6% of balance — 0.6% on prop-firm accounts — or above $25 for small accounts), GoldMine Vector does not place it immediately. It holds the signal while price reprices back into a safe risk level and only enters once risk falls back within the threshold. If price moves away before that happens, the held signal is dropped.

How The Profit Split Works

The profit share is calculated from each calendar-month net profit (1st → end of month — not a rolling 30-day cycle), not gross winning trades. If your calendar-month net profit is zero or negative, you owe $0.Suppose your account makes $500 in gross profits during a calendar month but also records $200 in gross losses. Net profit = $500 − $200 = $300. Profit share = 10% × $300 = $30. We get $30, you keep $270.

GoldMine means the entire automated trading system and service: the in-app connection, managed VPS infrastructure, monitoring, profit-split billing, and support around it. GoldMine Vector means our proprietary MetaTrader 5 trader running inside GoldMine — the component that scans XAUUSD, executes trades, and manages positions.

Trading RiskTrading forex, CFDs, commodities, and other financial instruments involves substantial risk and may result in partial or complete loss of capital.

Market ConditionsActual results may differ from historical/backtest results because of market conditions, slippage, spread, liquidity, broker execution, trading costs, latency, economic events, and technical failures.

Our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy describe the browser extension, where trade data stays on your device and we have no access to your trading accounts. GoldMine is different: it cannot operate without server-side access to your trading account and trading data.By connecting a MetaTrader 5 account and using GoldMine, you expressly consent to Trade Autobot collecting, storing, and processing the following for as long as your GoldMine account is active (plus a reasonable period for billing, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal compliance):• Account connection details: broker name, server, account login (masked in the UI) for provisioning and trading — never exposed to other users.• Configuration and status: risk percentage, instruments, connection/provisioning status, and synchronization timestamps.• Trading activity reported by GoldMine Vector: open and closed positions including symbols, side, volumes, entry/exit prices, stop-loss/take-profit levels, open/close times, gross profit/loss, and risk metrics.• Account metrics and billing inputs: balance, equity, P&L, open-position counts, and calendar-month net-profit calculations used to assess profit-split obligations; these are not rolling 30-day calculations.This data is used solely to operate GoldMine (provisioning, execution, monitoring), calculate and collect profit-share and service fees, provide support, and maintain the security and integrity of the service. Unlike the browser extension — where trade data stays on your device — GoldMine stores your connected MT5 account details (broker, server, masked account number), connection status, risk settings, trade history (open/closed positions, entry/exit prices, volumes, profit/loss), calendar-month profit-split calculations, and account metrics such as balance and equity. By connecting an account and using GoldMine, you consent to this storage and processing so the service can operate, monitor, bill, and support your account.

A zero/near-zero spread and swap-free account is strongly recommended where available, with transparent commissions and reliable execution. This matters because GoldMine uses a higher timeframe strategy and positions may remain open for a few days, so overnight financing/swap charges can accumulate and increase trading costs and drawdown.

GoldMine runs automated trades through a VPS. Before connecting a prop-firm account, make sure your prop firm and specific account/program allow automated trading, VPS-based trading, your intended account size, your VPS/IP location, and GoldMine's trading strategy and execution model. GoldMine does not guarantee that your prop-firm account is eligible for automated or VPS trading.
